Scott Hoffmire

Scott Hoffmire – Executive Director

Scott is Second Chance’s founder and visionary. While living in Memphis, he was involved with a non-profit drug and alcohol program during its inception that provides vocational rehabilitation, life skills, and work opportunities for their clients. This program, significantly supported by the greater Memphis community, has a measured 76%+ long-term sobriety success rate due in great part to their focus on vocational rehabilitation, empowering addicts and alcoholics in early recovery.

Relocating to Florida in 2005, Scott saw that vocational and life skills resources for alcoholics and addicts who had completed treatment were lacking in the area. Conversations with Treatment Centers, Halfway Houses, and Therapists led to the founding of Second Chance.

Scott is also the founder and owner of the Insights Alliance group of companies that include a national market research firm and several companies focusing on maximizing procurement savings for companies in the hotel and hospitality industries. He is one of the most successful theoreticians and practitioners of Standards Based Purchasing methods, saving companies millions of dollars. Scott is an avid pilot, and spends a lot of time giving back to the community.
